You’re right! I don’t get it, how come a phenomenon can exist in the world but Iran?! Even average people know that all Islamic schools and jails in Iran are the center of homosexual activities. Even in our daily jokes, we do have tons of jokes about them. We do have a city called, Qazvin which is famous for the related jokes, such as you shouldn’t bend over even you drop a 1000 bill!
Transexuality is another phenomenon in Iran which state funds for operations under Ahmadinejad’s government. You can read the detail about Iranian homosexuals and Transsexuals in Guardian Unlimited which suggests “Iran is second only to Thailand for sex changes.”
