It is a BBC documentary, written and produced by Adam Curtis. The series consists of three one-hour films, consisting mostly of a montage of archive footage with Curtis's narration.
The films compare the rise of the American Neo-Conservative movement and the radical Islamist movement, making comparisons on their origins and noting strong similarities between the two. More controversially, it argues that the threat of radical Islamism as a massive, sinister organized force of destruction, specifically in the form of al-Qaeda, is in fact a myth perpetrated by politicians in many countries—and particularly American Neo-Conservatives—in an attempt to unite and inspire their people following the failure of earlier, more utopian ideologies. First of all, I should say I don't accept this documentary's goal! Aside of all controversial things in this documentary and lack of explaining about 1979 - the Islamic Republic of Iran Revolution such as which powers did support the Islamic Republic Revolution in Iran? And why? From minute 39 in the first episode addressed about Khomeini and similarity to Sayyed Qutb’s ideology.
Khomeini addressed the West. “Yes,” he told them, “we are reactionaries, and you are enlightened intellectuals. You who want freedom for everything, the freedom that will corrupt our country, corrupt our youth, and freedom that will pave the way for the oppressor—freedom that would drag our country to the bottom.”
Got the point? Khomeini and other mullahs were against freedom from day one. so there won't be freedom in Iran as long as we let them, these Islamist govern in Iran.

If the Christian fundamentalists ever take over in America, then freedom and true religion (the God of mercy and compassion) will completely disappear from America. They will say "God and Jesus" but with their hands and their will they will serve only Satan the Devil.
