Iran pickes on Benetton







A group of prominent MPs have called for the Italian clothing retailer Benetton to quit Iran, saying its fashions are a bad influence on female consumers.(AFP/File)

Update: The real story is the PMs said Benetton owner is Jewish and had trade with Israelis so he shouldn’t has shop in Iran.

  1. These mp's should realize that they're not the teachers of the Iranian people on how we should dress. As a matter of fact THEY are the ones who need to be taught how to dress and groom themselves, because they look AWFUL! Shabby suits, ungroomed, unshaves, and the poor women with those ugly black chadors that make them look like clumsy penguins! What horrible god do they believe in that wants women to look that way and to suffer? What horrible god do they worship that opposes beauty? Not the God of Islam! The God of Islam praises beauty - He is the Source of beauty. These people need to get their act together and realize that they have to quit bullying and harrassing us. The Iranian people have only so much patience, and when it runs out, then... these people will be very sorry! The Holy Qoran says: RELIGION IS NOT COMPULSORY. I don't see what is so difficult to understand in this sentence!
