Ebrahim Lotfollahi died in custody under torture

Ebrahim Lotfollahi, Kurdish Iranian senior law student has died in custody at the Iran intelligence ministry detention center in Sanadaj. He was arrested when he left his university’s examination hall and while his family tried to arrange for him to be released from custody; they were told that he has committed suicide in January 17, 2008. That's a big fat lie; it's a second obvious killing of people under torture in custody in just over a month. In December 2007 a young woman, medical doctor Zahra Bani Yaghoub, died after she was arrested for walking in a park with a man to who assumed she was not related.

Iranian authorities rushed to bury Ebrahim Lotfollahi before his family could visit him and they filled his grave with cement, apparently to prevent his body being exhumed for medical examination.
