"A Cry from Iran" is the name of documentary that pictures life of Haik Hovsepian Mehr, an Armenian minister who was murdered in January 1994.
According to Islamic Sharia law, He needed to be killed because he launched an international campaign to free Mehdi Dibaj who was sentenced to death on charges of apostasy. Dibaj was imprisoned for nine years for his conversion to Christianity long time ago, something about 45 years ago. Dibaj's death sentence was not lifted.
Also Haik Hovsepian Mehr didn't sign a declaration stating that he would not allow Muslims or Muslim converts into the church. Churches in Iran should sign a declaration that first and foremost they won't convert any Muslim and second, they won't let any Muslim converts to go into their churches. Although Islamic Iran officials claimed to support religious freedom but reality check proves something else, Islamic Iran have strongly condemned and killed whoever exposed violations of religious freedom and/or converted to other religions.
And finally Mehdi Dibaj who was freed on international outcry for his freedom, abducted and murdered by government agents 6 months after they abducted and murdered Haik Hovsepian Mehr.
