Mujahedin Khalq is targeted

Mujahideen-e Khalq (known as MKO, People's Mujahedin of Iran) are the only Iranian organization that Islamic republic and revolutionary guards fear most so they made sure that these organization won’t get away easy in Iraq since Saddam Hussein’s downfall. Ayatollah Khamenei, supreme leader of Iran personally asked Iraqi President Jalal Talabani to expel MKO members from Iraq on January 1, 2009. Seems Iraqi army found out the best timing to go as planned with MKO:

It is true that MKO despise in Iran mostly for their fighting alongside of Iraqi army against Islamic republic and there are considered fanatic by many Iranians, they are an Islamic socialist militant organization and extremist in their own way. Whatever they are, they are Iranians and people that shouldn’t get killed in the camps, get them out of Iraq and I am not sure Iran would be safe destination for them.
