U2 goes green again in support of Iranian rebels


Once again U2 dedicated “Sunday Bloody Sunday” to the Iranian rebels in Milan, Italy on July 07, 2009. First time on July 02 in Barcelona, U2 went green in support of Iranian movement and now, oh my, this is phenomenal.

  4. By the way it’s not "Iranian rebels"
    It is Iranian people
    Very ordinary Iranian people
    Just those walking in the street
    The only crime (as government call it) they do is showing victory sign in the street
    But shockingly this crime may be punished with death sentence in the crime scene!! by Basij militia (a governmental militia organized by extremist Islamic regimen to make terror in the society)
    Iranians just want their votes back and to be honest they are tired of Basij and its extremist acts and they don’t want it anymore

    Here rebel means people who defy established authority, like what we do in Iran. We are fed up with corrupted establishment and the way they handle everything by suppressing people’s voice, so we came out and shout death to dictator or show our V sign as for victory!

    We have been rebellious to what they wanted us to be. Perhaps sometimes they broke us, perhaps sometimes they shutdown us, perhaps we didn’t have voice for sometime but we didn’t give in, we didn’t bend, and we stand still and hold our heads high. We are proud rebels to dictatorship theocracy!
