Iran's foreign minister in Dublin

Just saw this news on AP:

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki narrowly avoided being pelted with eggs during a Dublin appearance overshadowed by angry clashes with several Iranian dissidents.

Since I remember, Iranian expatriates have been committed to embarrass authorities of Islamic Iran any chance they have got. When people inside do not have freedom to speak up, and execution, torture and prison are the only response we get from Islamic regime then some who might have the opportunity, would try to put authorities to shame.

  1. Damn, had i known about this i would have sent a few boxes of egg's i have been saving for over a year. For that rainy day when a politician visits.

But on a serious note, it's pretty chilling watching this so close to home. Not in UN HQ in NY nor in Iran but closer to our borders.
No surprise. Thatcher had Pinochet for a guest once. The only good politician is a egged one (dead).

I cannot believe the F.M's bodygaurd's could have the juristiction to be physical. Copper should have whacked the thug.

btw you are doing a marvelous job on recent postings. I guess you are feeling a lot better mentally than you were 6 months ago.

Keep up the good work. We're always watching.

p.s.- you must hold the world record for 'profile viewed ******* times'.
    Congrats.

  2. there are some protocols in place between countries about protection of their officials so thet might get physical in order to protect, in this case using protection as an excuse to throw these protesters out.

Thank you, I hope you are doing ok. I do not know about the world record
